770 earthquake victims in Padang, Indonesia

Fatality due to the earthquake in West Sumatra has yet to be ascertained accurately estimated but now it reaches more than 770 people.

TVONE local television stations to state the number of victims killed 467 people, while the Ministry of Social Affairs spokesman, told Tugiyo Bisri 464 victims were killed and 500 more injured.



Tugiyo quoted by CNN.com as saying that Asia today, the area worst hit by the earthquake is the Padang with 376 people killed.

However, based on the number of buildings that collapsed, is expected to reach thousands of victims.

Health Department spokesman, said Rustam Pakaya, estimated thousands of victims trapped under rubble.
